Saturday, February 6th- Waitangi Day (New Zealand, this day celebrates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, the document that founded New Zealand.)
Wednesday, February 10th- Middle School Half Day
Thursday, February 11th- National Foundation Day (Japan, the day the nation was founded)
Friday, February 12th- Lincoln's Birthday (he will be 201!!) and the Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics
February 13-21- February Vacation!!!
Sunday, February 14th- Valentines Day!(check out its history)
Monday, February 15th- President's Day
Tuesday, February 16th- Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras)
Wednesday, February 17th- Ash Wednesday

HappyDays Project-Bowling

How was exploring?? Send me pictures of cool things you discovered!! Today, Sunday January 10th is Bowling Day. Even if you can't go Bowling (because your parents probably won't bring you, you can still have fun!!! Set up empty waterbottles in a bowling formation and use tennis balls to try to knock them down. It is harder than it looks!! Monday January 11th is Zentangle Day. Zentangles are fun, relaxing doodles. You take a piece of paper and put a dot in each corner. You connect the lines and make some sort of bpx. You divide the box into sections and in each section, do a different design. Have fun, and stay relaxed!!

Tomorrow, Friday the 8th is Bubble Bath Day, bubble baths are a perfect thing to do to relax at the end of the week! Saturday the 9th is Find New Places To Explore Day! Send pictures of cool places you explore, even (especially) your back yard (that's were I'm exploring!!!) Have Fun!

How did the pillow fights go??? I am going to have a really good one right before I go to bed!! Aren't pillow fights fun!!! Tomorrow, Wednesday the 6th is Winnie The Pooh Day!! Embrace your inner child and get out those great books and read!! You can learn some pretty good lessons from that silly old bear! Click here to go to the official Winnie the Pooh website. I never get bored of reading about Pooh, Piglet, Kanga, Roo, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, and of course Eeyore. Have fun!!

Wednesday the 7th is Make Up A Song Day, thanks to Maddy, because it was her idea. Make up a song, it can be silly or weird or happy!! Send some songs to me, and if you want I can post them!

School days sort of drag on. You go to the same classes, do the same things, same old routine. So I have decided to make the days a little more interesting.... everyday will have a theme! During the boring school days you need something to look forward to, and that is my idea. A poster from the American Girl Magazine had 100 reasons to be happy. I am using some of them combined with mine and other people to come up with the different random themes.

Today, Monday 1\4\10 was Make Up A Dance Day. It cheered up my day to go to my room and dance! In honor of Make Up A Dance Day, send me your favorite songs to dance to!

Tomorrow is Pillow Fight Day! Who said you can't have a pillow fight in the middle of the week???
