Field Day

Wednesday, June 17th, was the Middle School Field Day. Each homeroom had a different theme. Ours was a Candy Buffet. Me, Alex, and Emily were M&M's. Some other popular themes were a nursing home, 61's Got Talent, and Hollywood Deams. Than came the racing! Up first was the Apache relay, and I am proud to say my homeroom won it! There was also girls & boys quarter laps, a mixed quarter lap, and a mixed half lap. There was also a sponge-bucket challenge (you had to get as much water as you could from a bucket into another bucket in 3 minutes using a sponge), bucket stacking, and tug of war. It was lots of fun!

Camp Munchkin

Here is some informtion on the camp I am doing with some of my friends for kids in our neighborhood:

Camp Munchkin

Camp Munchkin is a camp run with adult supervision for kids ages 5-8. The kids will do crafts and play games with their friends!

Please bring a nut-free lunch! We will also be serving munchkins. Also bring a swimsuit and towel. Please apply sunscreen and possibly bug spray before coming. We will reapply if necessary.

Band and Chorus Trip to Canobie Lake Park

Saturday, June 13th was the Band and Chorus trip to Canobie Lake Park. I like the Boston Tea Party, if you open your eyes after the splash it looks like you're under the water. The Yankee Cannonball was fun, but I screamed the whole time. The Log Flume was fun too. Some other rides my friends went on that I wouldn't go on were the Turkish Twist, Corkscrew, Starblaster, Wipeout and some weird Skateboard ride.

JE Variety Show

Friday, June 12th was the JE Variety Show. It is a Talent Show. But it is officially the Variety Show. There were lots of good acts from cute Kindergartoners playing the piano, Shorty Sporty, skits, and dances. Emma and her friends did a skit about a wacky Gymnastics class. It was really funny! :)

American Idol Finale-

May 20th was the American Idol Finale. I barely had watched that year, but am normally a huge fan. Most of my friends watch Idol constantly so we all headed over Andrea's house. She is the biggest fan out of all of us. Probably out of eveyone in the country. Probably out of everyone in the world. I didn't have an oppinion of who should win, so didn't really care as much. But when Kris won, everyone in the world heard girls in that house screaming out of joy.

States-

Emma had her last gymnastics meet, States, on Saturday, May 16th. She did really well. She came in 7th on Bars and 8th on Balance Beam. Congratulation Emma!
